Fantastic Halal restaurant in Downtown Kingston. Very well presented, great service and Delicious 😋 food . I’ll definitely try again.

Food is good there is no problem. Last Sunday you provide us lamb but it was not lamb. It was turkey leg. We are from Montreal but some business deal I come Kingston that's why we like to eat from you restaurant. Today also we wad there and Indian person was served the Food. I ask him bring here SALT AND BLACK PEPPER WHY YOU NOT PUT every Table Salt and Black pepper.

These guys are amazing! I always leave with more food than I'd expected, always for less than I'd expected, and everything is always cooked to perfection. They once mistakenly sent me home without my favorite thing - garlic potatoes. But instead of offering a credit or asking me to come back, they had it delivered immediately and added an entire extra dish to apologize. I had had a terrible day and this not only fed my belly, but my soul. These garlic potatoes are honestly one of the best things you can find in Kingston.

The hospitality is great. They greet you with a great warm cup of tea and they provide great service. The food was very fresh and portions were extremely big. Make sure to also try their baked potatoes because they are the absolute best in town. Our waiter Amin went above and beyond our expectations and made our visit improved to a great new level. I go to quite a few Persian restaurants. This is truly great. Excellent service. We had a wonderfully spiced kabob and shiraz salad. Portions are generous.

Love the tea, the potatoes and garlic dip, the rice...really good and great price. Sometimes the chicken is a bit dry and really wish they’d play traditional middle eastern music for dining in, it would get 5 stars for a better atmosphere.

Place is cozy and clean and people are nice.They welcome you by a nice cup of tea!But I was expecting way more! Kebab was fresh but spicy!! And all the other foods we tried even salad wasn’t really fresh. Besides, everything was served with hummus and garlic sauce!Will I go back there again?I am not sure!

Wonderful food if you're looking for something different than just a burger, authentic Iranian food right in downtown Kingston. The decoration on the wall was tacky but very amusing to look at at the same time.

This is the place to go in Kingston if you are in the mood for middle eastern food. Their meat is very delicious, their rice is well cooked and even their appetizers are good (except the salad). Their staff are very friendly and arranged an order for me once for large group very smoothly. Oh and they serve you the best tea even before you make an order. Their prices are reasonable for their portions.

Alibaba is probably one of the most economical (with good service) eateries in downtown Kingston. We went there last week an hour before it closed and stayed there till the end. The servers were extremely accommodating and food portion was huge... would 10/10 go there again!

My go to lunch place my fav is the Ali Baba Chicken Wrap with the drink and garlic potatoes for an extra $3. The decor is a little weird but the staff is great and I have gotten to know the owner a little bit and he is very kind and nice. For approximately $14 you can have a full dinner with large portions.

Beyond wonderful. I came in a few times for food before, and always loved their Ali Baba chicken and rice. Tonight I came in with family members visiting from out of town, and Ali Baba served the most wonderful food for that purpose. I recommend their skewers and the quzi. I had came in earlier and gave them a cake because it was my relative's birthday, and they helped me surprise her with candles and everything. I am more than thankful for their patience and amazing service. I highly recommend this place for it's delicious food, kind and helpful staff, and the lovely homey decor. Great job, Ali Baba!

This is a casual place with a few tables and a TV showing the news or whatever the guy on the corner wants to watch. The table service is very friendly. However, of a large group's orders very little of the food was good. Dry falafel, undercooked chicken, and the spices in the dishes seemed pretty muted. This is probably a great lunch spot but the prices were a bit high for the quality.

Great place in town to try other cultural food and the staff are really helpful and respectful. Ali Baba Kabab is located in Downtown Kingston and very convenient for visitors in the city. Overall a great place to get good food that fils you up.

Everything’s great here, but my go to after trying just about everything in there menu is the Shish Kabab, the meat so tender it melts in your mouth. 😋

Love getting food from Ali Baba! The portions are great, the food is delicious and fresh, and the price is great for the amount of food you get. Plus the garlic dip is just so good!

Great felafel and kebab wraps. Good price, too. Excellent service. And they bring you lightly sweetened tea, included. I'd definitely recommend the place for your felafel or kebab fix. They do need to get rid of the flies, though.

Stopped here for a quick dinner in Kingston. Cute little sit down place. AMAZING service the moment we walked through the door. Water and tea brought to the table right away. Small menu (perfect) with great prices. Food came to the table in less than 10 mins. Server was a really friendly guy. Made sure water was filled and came to check on plates. Dinner for 2 with tip was $25. Definitely recommend this place. Great location on Princess in downtown Kingston. Suitable for takeaway as well.

Great food. Service is amazing for both dine-in and take-out. I personally love the falafel, but everything I have tried on the menu has been fantastic. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options.

I was recommended to go to this place by my brother while I was driving along the 401. I had to go out of my way to check this place out and I am glad I did. The quality of the food was high and the service super friendly. The owner himself took our order and served us. He also took the time to socialize with us for a good ten minutes. The price is great and the portions were so big I did not even finish. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I ordered chicken sharma plate, my friend ordered sultani kobideh, and kobideh... salad was old not fresh at all... chicken shawrma had no taste whatsoever... i left almost all of my plate as it is.. my friends also left their portions.. i think i would not go again

I don't usually try Middle Eastern food because I'm skeptical, but this place has got me hooked! Friendly service that tries to make your experience a great one. The tea is amazing. It's a unique blend of black and white tea that you can buy right in the restaurant! All the dishes are very savory and I always leave satisfied. A great spot for any occasion. Also student friendly with their special takeout menu!

A lovely, cozy little place, it is a casual establishment, but you can still enjoy a nice meal with complimentary hot cardamom tea and a nice atmosphere. Exposed stone and brick backdrops rose gold and copper accents and picture frames, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is pretty basic, but what they do, they do well. The kaboudeh and their potatoes with garlic sauce are to die for.
